Preventative maintenance is key to efficiency and reliability of instrumentation. Maintenance requirements vary from plant to plant depending on equipment and the level of automation.

Instrulec offers maintenance contracts on a monthly or customer-defined basis. Preventative tasks that we perform may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Physical inspection of all instrumentation

• Cleaning sensors / transducers

• General operation inspection (relay outputs, alarms, power supplies, battery testing)

• Testing of SCADA and mA (milliamp) outputs

• Maintenance of mechanical components

• Calibration of Instrumentation

As part of our maintenance procedures, Instrulec supplies detailed reports which indicate faults and findings observed during each preventative maintenance routine.
